Competency Assessed:

The Verification of Competency (VOC) for forklifts assesses an operator’s ability to safely and effectively manage forklift operations within their workplace. Key areas of competency include verifying the operator’s knowledge of safe forklift operation and ensuring that pre-operational
inspections and start-up procedures are conducted thoroughly and correctly.

The assessment also evaluates the operator’s awareness of environmental factors that could impact safety during forklift use, ensuring they maintain safe driving practices throughout their tasks. Finally, operators are assessed on their ability to follow proper parking and shutdown procedures, minimizing risks and ensuring staff safety.

Outcome:

Upon completion, you will receive a VOC report outlining each trainee's areas of competency and any areas that may require further training or additional VOC checks in the future.
