Competency Assessed:

The Verification of Competency (VOC) for moving and placing loads using mobile plant assesses an operator’s ability to safely and effectively handle tasks involving the lifting, moving, and placing of loads in a workplace setting. Operators will be evaluated on their understanding of key principles such as load planning, safe attachment techniques, and efficient movement and placement of materials using mobile plant equipment.

This assessment focuses on ensuring that operators can demonstrate the necessary skills for working in infrastructure or similar environments, where precise and safe load handling is critical. Operators will be tested on their ability to plan for the task, assess potential risks, and execute the job in compliance with workplace safety standards.

Outcome:

Upon completion, you will receive a VOC report outlining each trainee's areas of competency and any areas that may require further training or additional VOC checks in the future.
